Summary: Dean picks out his Halloween costume, but he isn’t entirely satisfied. Drabble, set in the Starting Over ’verse when Dean is a preschooler.

They were about to take Dean’s Batman costume to the register when Dean nudged Sam.
Sam raised an eyebrow. “Didn’t change your mind, did you?”
“Nuh uh,” Dean said, craning his neck to look at Sam. “Want you to get one, too.”
Sam had explained that grownups didn’t usually dress up for Halloween. Dean apparently didn’t care. “Dean -- ”
“Please? I found you a costmoon.”
Sam’s lips twitched. “Costume,” he corrected.
Dean ignored him, pointing at the top of the display. “There.”
Dean nodded. “’Cause you’re my souphero.”
The costume was way too small.
Sam bought it anyway.
